Red Trenchcoat
A white one-piece mid thigh lengthed dress.

As the sakura blossoms show off their full bloom magnificence brought on by the warm weather marking what is known as spring, Mandy Zhang is going to tell you all about it, the streets are no longer full of people covered from head to toe in thick bundles. Spring is here! It’s time to put away those thick trench coats for another nine months and replace them with new fashion, and colours.

This spring has seen a range of retailers bring out and promote a range of one piece items for the ladies. One piece dresses that reach mid thigh length is popular especially worn with stockings and/or shorts.

According to the May 2009 issue of "Spring" there are nine items of must haves for this season. Coming in on the top of the list of must haves is soft white loose fitting dresses trimmed with lace with lengths from mid thigh to knee length.

Next on the list is creme ruffle loose fitting round neck blouses with three quarter sleeves. This goes well with the third must have on the list, which are boyfriend denim jeans and bootlegs.

As i mentioned before one piece dresses are popular this season and cotton ethnic prints with matching waist belts are big this season along with colourful floral stoles, light scarf like items that will add colour to your outfit.

Loose linen short pants are also a must have, but don't forget to wear your stockings and leggings under them!

White coat with Furry collar
A creme ruffle round-neck loose fitting blouse, with 3/4 sleeves, and denim shorts.

Regarding bags, straw basket like bags, cargo and straw totes and linen shoulder bag are all in this season.

And now we reach the bottom end of our ensemble. Shoes!! Ballerina shoes with a small bow near the toes will complement any outfit composed with the must have items of this season.

As spring is the season of flowers, this means colours! Make sure your accessories are colourful this season! Thats all from me this season ~ stay tuned for Summer!

Mandy Zhang.
